Trained at the Toulouse Conservatoire and under renowned classical guitar masters such as Francisco Bernier in Seville and Gianpaolo Bandini in Lucca, Ysé Dastugue earned his Master’s Degree in Musical Performance with First-Class Honours.
A First Prize winner and laureate of prestigious international competitions (including the Paganini Competition in Parma, Harmonia Cordis, and Mantovani), Ysé performs regularly at major European music festivals.
Parallel to his soloist career, Ysé is deeply committed to music pedagogy. Regularly invited to give masterclasses across Europe, he is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Music Pedagogy at the Geneva University of Music (HEM). He is passionate about sharing his stage experience and love for both classical and modern guitar with his students.
